Biography

My Ph.D. is in Developmental Psychology from the University of Michigan. I've been teaching at Texas State for over 40 years and feel very fortunate to be here. The courses I most commonly teach are Lifespan Development, Psychology of Human Sexuality, and Psychology of Women. I'm currently on my last year of three years of "phased retirement," teaching 50%.

Family members include my daughter Alana, my son Jordan, and my husband Bob. Alana is a math instructor at Texas State, and Jordan, who graduated from Texas State with a B.S. in physics, is working with my husband in remodeling/rental management.
